sorry if this is a daft q, but what's a dawes device an what does it do?

It basically controls boost, which means you can set a higher level of boost which will inturn make your car faster, or if your getting fuel cuts after fitting mods like induction kit and exhaust, can be used to lower the boost limit so they no longer occur.

The Dawes is about a year old IIRC, cars only a toy though so it only went out at the weekend, then if it was dry.

Was hoping for more than £30, but if no one else is willing to offer more then you can have it i guess.
