I've recently had fitted an HKS FMIC on a MY 99 STI 5 Type R

The D.V/V fitting is on an 8" stub pipe (Forge Re-circ)

Problem is the v/v seems to be dumping all over the place. LOL

Is this a common issue with this fitment?

I'm sure I read somewhere about shortening the stubpipe .Can't find the thread.

Any help?

I too have recently fitted an HKS FMIC to my MY00 and I am not impressed at all, the pipework rubs all over the place especially on the vent covers and the d/v fitting pipe is a joke.

I am condsidering selling it and getting an uprated TMIC!!!
