Anyone got any suggestion for a nice LOUD (but not too loud) sounding back box for the MY03 sti type uk
Anyone heard the Afterburner back box????? Any good??????

I've fitted the Magnex 6x4 oval and replacement mid section which is a straight through pipe to my STi VII. The quality and fit are excellent and it certainly makes the car sound like it should. It fits the cutout on the rear valance perfectly and is supplied with new shoulder bolts to fit the bell flange joint, unlike some other systems. I fitted it myself with only the rear of the car jacked up.

It's not obtrusive although you may have to turn up the crappy std stereo a couple of notches.

A well satisfied customer.

IMO it sounds better the the Prodrive bb's which I think are too quiet.

 

I've got a Scoobysport on my sti8. I had one on my old bug eye and like the "burble" which is not too "in ya face" for me. Fit and quality are top too.
