will this pipe make a difference to the my car if fitted, at 180.00 I would like to think so..

It depends on the current spec of your car. General consensus is that the OEM inlet pipe is good for up to about 350bhp. Beyond that an aftermarket pipe can remove this restriction.

There have been some cases reported of the Samco pipe collapsing at high boost pressures although I believe Samco are saying they have addressed this now. Try a search on intake pipes - this topic comes up quite regularly.
