Cheers to Guido - good bloke, good buy - I have had an evening of fun and frolics, I can tell ya. Scoobynet did the trick in finding the right car.

One concerning moment, coming up to a roundabout at speed, heel and toed down (double declutching) from 3rd to second, and got an awful bang from the rear offside??? Had been getting big kicks up the *** on high speed gearchanges till I found I was letting the clutch out too quick, think maybe this was the same - but sounded a bit ominous (was thinking rear diff), but everything seemed OK???

Any ideas?

 

wasnt the guy in the nova behind you not braking hard enough was it :P ?

 

What car did you get?

I noticed the bangs from the clutch/gearbox when changing too quickly as well - although that was in a forester. Nothing I could pin down to one side though.
Does it happen every time?

 

This also happned to my MY97 as well. It was just my eratic changing of gears though lol.

 

My MY97 does this when I'm a bit too spirited in my gear changes. I think (hope?) it's a 'they all do that sir'
