that has been poured over 6 cars so far, one of them being my brothers MY02 WRX, causing over 1k worth of damage. A Toyota was also done, causing £2,500 worth of damage.

I only live around the corner, My CAT is not garaged at night and I am having sleepless nights listening out for the little b******s to come near mine. It must be youngsters who are bored and decide to go wreck someones pride and joy..............

Police have been informed, but...............

They must have been walking along Loddon Bridge Road, through Crockhamwell Road................

Dread the weekends when my Cat is sitting outside on the drive. Luckily its not too near the road, which is where the Toyota and my brother's WRX were parked.

Damn...I'm from Reading and have heard about this from a friend.
If you need any 'help' let me know. This sort of thing cannot be allowed to happen.

What did your friend hear? I imagine they were teenagers, probably trying to impress some girls. I hope everyone gets to hear about it, then we can all keep our eyes open. Thinking of investing in a cctv system now!

Rich, is that you? I know Greg's car got his stereo stuff nicked just after they had gone to the George, before going to the Showcase. Julie said there were kids hanging around and saw Greg put his mate's jacket in the boot where his bass box etc was.

Got my Afterburner fitted yesterday, you can probably hear me driving all around Woodley now!!! Shaz

The cost of CCTV is now affordable by everyone, as little as £50 for a basic system. If I was in fear of the vandalism you describe, I would install a discreet camera and if the worst does happen, you will at least have two options - report the offence with evidence to show the culprit, or keep quiet and meet the b*stard in a dark alley.

Scumb4gs....

I've had cctv fitted for the past 7 years, not that I'm paranoid or anything If I had any damage done, then I'd want to know who it is as no doubt the Police would just give you a crime reference number and leave you with the worry...

Mine aren't mega proffesional ones, but if anyone needs a hand fitting and setting up a cctv then I'd be more than willing to help if your local.

Hope you catch up with them one day though!

No point informing the Police, just vist the culprits and explain that you've caught them in the act and not to do it again, use actions not words though!!!

No point informing the Police
That's also my opinion. I'm so tired of hearing about how little can be done to prevent yobs wreaking havoc, much better to exact your own form of justice, it's the only method now available and it does work.

i've got a cctv on my front but at night the picture is really crap so trying to identify someone from it would be impossible, i went into my local security shop and ask them for some info, he quoted me £800, and that's the starting price.

At the end of the day u get what u pay for

Cat17, just twigged it yeah it was gregs stuff i was refering to.

Though it was funny that concorde was still going over woodley , be interested to have a look at it.

Rich

edited to say: if your really concerned about the car, get one of the cliffords that speaks a warning if people get too close, would be a pain if you park it up anywhere, but would probably work well in the drive!
