Alloy wheels... what risk????

I've just been told by my wonderful insurers Privilege that it will cost an additonal £256 per year to change my wheels!!!

Surely they aren't such a risk that they add 30% to my premium??

I'm pretty sure that four standard Subaru wheels and tyres from the Main Dealer would cost a lot more than an aftermarket set, yet they don't load the premium for them??

Just goes to show that a cheap quote isn't the be-all and end-all of insurance.

Should have went with someone like Adrian Flux... at least they don't hammer you for non-perfomance mods!!

yeh I found this out too, the only reason they are able to offer you such a good deal is that it is not modified

then you want mods the price heads through the roof
