Hi Claus,

As per some of the answers to the earlier discussion we had on this, the dealer investigated the noise and replaced the pre tensioner bolt or sometehing (sorry I can't be more specific, but I'm not a mechanic). Whatever they did cured the problem for a while at least. I have noticed the noise ever so slightly again when the car is really cold, but nowhere near as bad as before it went in and it goes away much quicker (at a lower temperature). I had a similar response to what you received about beleiving what I read on the internet from the dealer I use.
