Cool

HELP!

I'm desperate for a 12 inch or longer offcut of the standard vacuum tube supplied with the gauge. It has to be the same bore and diameter to fit the gauge and I have cracked mine. I will pay postage if someone could send me a bit they have left over (or tell me where I can get it). The suppliers don't have any.
If you can help, please e-mail me at peter.quigley@talk21.com

Cheers.

As long as you have enough length to use the brass adapter that came with the gauge, why don't you just use std rubber piping?

Someone suggested brake line hose as it's pretty rigid so won't collapse under vacuum. As long as it has a 3mm internal diamter, you can just connect it to a little piece of the original clear piping and run that to the manifold.

Thumbs down

I already run silicon hose from about 10 inches down the tube, but I need some of the small original tube to allow it to fit behind my a-pillar mount. If I join it any higher up, the jubilee clip will not fit.
Looks like I've got a problem!!

MS, I'm replacing my existing boost gauge with an Autometer one, but I was considering using the existing pipework installed previously, as long as it fits. If that's the case I should be able to let you have some of mine as I doubt I will need it all.
Whereabouts in Manchester are you as we could meet, save on postage and the waiting
Mail me offline.
