Hi there having bought my car as a grey import from Japan, I do not have the official WRX owners manual. Could someone kindly post the service schedule for the first 10000km. I'm more concern regarding the break-in period service schedule.

Thank you kindly.

Question

i've got an STi8 Japanese spec. first service intervals for me are 1,000km and 5,000km. Will try to get you the rest of the info later since the service book is the glove compartment and i can't be assed to get it (if I open the door i know i'll have to take it out for a quick spin ).

...but i don't see why you don't follow the service intervals like UK spec as servicing should not differ that much according to driving conditions. service intervals are only shorter in Japan because cars there are a lot of the times driven in conjested traffic and the milage is not what you'd call smooth whereas a lot of milage in the UK are done on nice long stretches of road and motorways (hope i'm making sense??)

The car came with the owners manual but in Japanese. It did not come with the service and maintenance manual.

Cars in Malaysia are driven similar to Japanese conditions, roads are always congested.

Thanks for the info on the first few thousand KM service schedule. I appreciate this.
