interesting read on Subaru's future

So i was bored an looking for something on the net when i came accross the accounts/anual reports for Fuji Heavy Industries.
If you want to see how FHI's sales have grown in the last 5 years and read up on there plans for the future, take a bit of time out and read the anual reports, it's interesting where their sales really are and how they want to grow the markets, what models they are working on etc.
Some of it may be a bit ****, but i found it pretty interesting reading.
Starting point is http://www.fhi.co.jp/fina/financial/...eport2002.html then you can look at the past 5 years reports too in the archive.
One of the most interesting things is the amount of cars made/sold in the USA, much higher than i expected.
Another interesting point is they expect sales to grow by 100% in the next 5 years in the European market, the highest % growth by far of any region, so are we going to get something juicy to cause that growth?

i know, i took voluntary redundancy recently, been away for 3 weeks in the USA, just got back and now i am a bit bored.

From the way i read it i dont think Subaru has plans to integrate with the GM product line, i see it saying they will actively try and not do that and concentrate on their core products.

Sorry to hear about your voluntary redundancy. I hope they gave you good package. 
I'm just thinking what Subaru would need to do to double sales..
They urgently need a replacement for the justy. Since the move in the WRC is to smaller nimbler cars a Turbo justy(change the name though) would seem to be a no brainer, both for the WRC and commercially.
The legacy is pitched in the family car market, but it's main problem is an image one. It's a great car, but really needs a B4 or performance version.
As much as I hate to admit it, Subaru could do with an MPV.
All of this costs $$$, which maybe where the royalties from the GM tie in could help
