Been looking for a way to get some gauges mounted in the center console of my MY94 STi - nothing available, so I had to make something...

This is just a temporary gauge - I am going to get three smaller ones mounted in the same place, as soon as I can afford them... (ScoobySport zorst comes first )

I used to havemy boost guage mounted in that same spot, but found it was impossible to read it without taking my eyes well away from the road, which when your trying to ascertain peak boost is not ideal. I eventually went with a pillar mount as you can glance at the gauge more easily.

It was mounted on the steering column when I got the car, but it looked tacky as hell...
I don't need to keep looking at it all the time - it's just every now and then to make sure all's well...!

You can get a Lamco 3 gauge kit that was an option on jap WRX's. Fits exactly where yours is. The odd one comes up for sale every now and then.

Well I've been trying to get the Lamco set for ages and not seen one for sale...

Thanks, GU5, you made my day.
As I said, it's a temporary measure - I didn't think it looked too bad..!

I think it looks fine, not at all tacky. If the location suit you, it's spot on
