Does anyone know if the new 03 WRX uses the same oil filter with the older 99-00-01-02?
As far as I know the older models have the same filter (different Subaru part code but same product) and have been told that the new WRX has also different part code - last two digts - but is exactly the same!

The 03 filters are the same as all the rest the only different oil filter available is for a late age Forrester

 

Thanks mate I just had my first miles with my new WRX03 and as I am going to change oil and filter after 200 or so miles (with Mineral oil of course) I need to be sure for the filter.
