hey guys,

had my full magnex catless exhaust fitted today...............BLOODY HELL!................I NREARLY SHXT MYSELF! it is like driving a new, so much more faster fun car!

I mean we are not just talking a slight noticeable difference, but jesus h christ, it feels like a super car................however?

the first time i really put my foot down, i felt and heard a grinding noise coming through the steering wheel, and from somewhere to the bottom right of the engine / wheel arch?

It also makes this noise if i am at speed going left round a tight corner. So just when accelerating hard in first, and going fast around a left hand corner????????

i rang the lads who fitted it, and he said possibly a screw may have come lose when it has been up on the ramp, and to drive it for the weekend, and if it does not rectify itself to bring the car back at 9.00am on tuesday morning for them to look at.

anybody any ideas what has taken the major shine off getting the full decat treatment?

Would it not be vibration caused by greater sound levels your feeling? Thats all i can think of and it will get this BTTT for others to see

 

Have heard that some down pipes can make contact with steering column as engine moves in mounts under hard cornering/acceleration.Get the mechanic to check clearance.
