Just a quick post.

Downsides/upsides etc

Anyone done it???

I know someone in the process of testing, and they have some very good results at present.

Cheers

Thumbs up

Thought about it but then built a huge FMIC instead, would work well with the two throttle bodys one front/one rear

I reckon it would work well if the under bonnet temps werent too high..
After all, one of the main reasons for fitting the front mount is to get rid of the top mount/interwarmer..
If the under bonnet temps are high and you run the air.. turbo-FMIC-TMIC the air may be heated back up perhaps when it goes through teh TMIC??

Yeah thats what i thought rob. But in theroy surely the TMIC would take away some of the heatsoak you would get from the FMIC pipework.

Would it be possible to have the inlet temps below ambient?

Can't wait to hear the results!!!!

If its any good i might be following suit.

Andy

I remember seeing that post of yours on the IC you built - very impressive. Was that a hard task??
