Question

Hi , I have read the dawes threads, but still have a couple of questions, sorry.
Car is MY98, k+n kit, ss downpipe and back box, standard middle section. also has small piston slap.

1. I don't have afr but i can get temporary access to a subaru select monitor. Does it have afr function ? i don't imagine it having coloured lights but possibly something else....?

2. Current boost with gauge is 13-14.5 psi. I am looking to increase boost to no more than 16psi ?

3. With temperature variations between +30 to -15 over here, will i have to change the dawes setting accordingly ?

Many thanks
Gervase

Select Monitor will tell you lambda voltage which gives you a rough idea of AFR. Also check the knock correction.

16 PSI would be sweet if all is well.

You might need to adjust it a bit see how it goes and watch your boost gauge.
