Been having a nightmare.
The intercooler fits between the verticle brackets either side but its bloody tight, so tight infact I can't get the hoses. Anyone had this problem and have a solution? Was thinking of cutting the bottom part of the bracket away.

Any help, advice please

Paul

The early uk and WRX scoobs dont have these brackets any way... They only have the top part of the bumper backing... I know this because i bought one from someone on here and it had the extra parts to it, that my MY95 WRX didnt have... I also know that a MY98 uk scoob doesnt have those parts either..

Cool

Put the clip on the intercooler first, then put the hose on.

Heres my pictures from when i did mine on my MY00 http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/threa...hreadID=131601

From the pictures it looks fine. It is a tight fit, how else do expect such a big intercooler to go in.

The APS kit only requires the bumper cutting, nothing else.

You can get the hoses on, justput the jubilee clip against the metal bracket, that way it does not cut the silicone pipes.

Watch for chaffing anywhere where the pipes come close to the body parts of the car.

While you are on Steven, is that front spoiler a 1 piece genuine v6 one on your car?
