Car stolen in Oldham area. Suspicious Subaru hanging around beforehand.

Hi,
Just heard of a Subaru (STi5) being stolen in the Oldham area.
Owner reported a blue 01 Impreza Y reg (with 2 numbers) drove past his drive 3 times beforehand. He assumed they were admiring his car.
Well, they shoved a hook through his letterbox and snagged his keys and the first thing he knew about it, the car was driving off his driveway.
I know this has been said 100s of times before but don't leave your keys near the door and watch out for a blue Y reg 01.
