Question

After having this debate at work ( We were bored ) just wondered if anyone else could enlighten us!!
If a new Scoob costs 25 Grand , If 17.5 % of this is VAT (£4375)this effectively means the price is around the 20.5 grand mark.
So when a dealer then sells a 3 month old 1000mile 2nd hand one for say 23 grand are they actually getting more for it the second time around ??? Told you we were bored!!!!!

You worked the VAT out wrong, The car exclusive of VAT is £21,276.59, therefore VAT is £3723.41, but yeah, he would make another £700 quid !

Working for KPMG does have it's good points afterall !
