Just got my first Imprezza, STI Series 2. Just off the boat from Jap Land.
Never actually driven one before, so did not know what to expect.
Have had a few fairly quick cars before, but non turbos.
Once warm, put my foot down in third gear, ****...
Thought I was going to take off. Turbo seems to come in at around 3 and then all hell brakes loose. At present it feels like a stalion that has not been rode before. I hope I get use to it.
It has a modified exhaust, although I was told that it was completely standard. Have now been told that its a Trust system, thought it may have been just the tail pipe, but its the whole system. Makes a good sound.
Was going to modify the induction system, I think I may leave it alone, cus I think I have **** myself too much already.
After driving home, stopped the engine, and then thought, ****, must leave it tick over for a few mins...
