How much to buy a turbo for a sport???

Question

As above, i know i could just go out and by a scoob with a turbo, but i want to know how much it would cost for just the turbi part that could be fitted onto my sport???

Unfortunatley, it aint that easy, you need:- Turbo, a manifold to accept this, intercooler + pipes, probabley different ECU, you need to lower the compression of the engine, too much to list in fact but those are the main bits, don't even contemplate it mate, it will cost far too much. Either live with less power or buy a Turbo.

Then again, why bother? I don't know if it's been done yet but the boxer engine must be good for 180bhp I would have thought, so why not go for a more powerful normally aspirated Scoob?

Yeah but once your use to that, you will want more, it always happens, then your back to square 1. Buy another scoob.
