I am Currenly running in my STi8 PPP and it has 800miles on the clock, and i have noticed recently that you can hear the dump valve dumping the boost on Gear change is this normal ???

I would not expect to have heard this as i thought that the boost was recirculated and not dumped to Atmosphere??

Any thoughts, could there be a hose off somewhere??

I agree, I have a standard STi 8 and have heard the same.

yup, noticed it last night mark,

Still only doing 4k revs and i could hear it,
so god knows how loud it will be at full chat !!!

I _hope_ its normal - I hear it on my STI7 too!
