Mods please leave here for a while.

At chistmas the scoob sat on the drive for a week or so, and I think the pads bound themselves to the rotors so when I 1st used it they "clicked" off. When braking for a couple of weeks you would be a wobble which felt like an unbalanced wheel which gradually resolved itself.

However the brakes seem to have got a lot worse recently and looking at the rears they dont look like normal metal but sort of corroded blacky/bluey/grey colour "smeg" all over them

any idea what this could be? Can I just get some light sandpaper to take this "crap" off and restore braking?

Robski, i had this problem all the time... driving the car on the weekends only and during the week they would bind to the discs... I just REALLY used the brakes hard (after warming them up nicely) and the junk just cleared off. Dunno if this will clear of that blue junk you have though.

Richie.
