Can you do ECU resets on an STI 8?

Do you just disconnect the batttery for 10 minutes and hey presto?

From what I've read there is no need. The fuel is effectively resampled continuously and the advance/knock correction etc reset. So go from 95 to 97 ron and feel the difference
I presume this is in reference to Super or adding octane booster?

I'm of the same opinion Chuck.

The P1 did likewise, and I was under the impression that all post 99 models did the same.

Thanks very much for that help. It's just a throwback to when I had a 95 WRX - it used to work on that.

Question

Tony,

Listers had already told me about it, but I saw it in there the other day.

What the **** did he do to it in 2-3 days that I failed to do in over two years? I 'enjoyed' the car, but it was impecably looked after, and never missed a beat while I had it.
