Has anyone had dimondbrite on there cars and still able to see hairline scratches in the lacquer which can't be removed with polish?

I could do with some advice before ringing the garage tomorrow, as it was only done last week on a new car.

Mark I picked up my STi 8 on Saturday and had to spend 4.5 hours polishing it to get the hairline scrtches out and in a state that is fit for a new car. I can honestly say that this is the last time I will ever let a dealer clean my new car before I get it.

I will PDI the fecking thing myself, that way I will know that it is perfect

Mark Underwood (wax wizzard) did our new cars at the weekend, Brilliant job. Swissol now do a product sililar to Diamond Bright & they will even do it on older cars.

Mrksti8 Mark would also be a good person to talk to re your problem, hes always happy to help with free advice. I would guess your problem is due to the preperation before Diamond briteing but Im only guessing

Mark can be contacted on 07966 713177

Mark,

Swirls and hairline scratches will be the last of you problems with the paint. Holding onto it will be your priority. Get amourfend or similar if you care that much IMHO. Your first cross-country run behind other cars will explain all.....

Dont want to hijack your thread, but I am considering having Diamond brite done, and would be interested to hear yours and anyone elses thoughts on it, for both exterior and interior treatments.

We had ours dimond brited and very nice it looks too!! Its been about a year now since it was done and no probs.Might just have been lucky but it works for us, has proven to dispel most stuff execpt bird Cr**p and car always looks shiny and clean, but we do have it valleted quite often. Honestly don't have shares in the company.

Had Diamond Brite put on mine from new. As said above any dirt or bird **** washes off with the lightest of pressure with a sponge. Always looks shiney. Scotchguard also part of the pack protects dash & seats.

Nigel.
