Hello!

anyone have some Tips to upgrade the Throttle Body? (polishing??

Anyone made an Inlet Manifold himself?
(Not only turning around i mean making it completely new like the WRC ones?)

Can i use the Idle Valve (Or whatever it is called!! At MY 99 on Top of Throttle body included and at MY 98 mounted beside in the Inlet Manifold)
to make it open while shifting? (To generate something like an ALS System?)
I mean its possible on the EVO´s!!

Thumbs up

Everyone seems agreed that in theory ALS using the ISCV is possible, but I don't think anyone has tried it. Unless you are highly competant at electronics, it would best be done in software, either on your JECS or a programmable ECU.

Not heard of a DIY manifold.....didn't think it really needed one unless you are trying to get the weight down.

I'm getting a manifold flow matched per tract, along with an enlarged throttle body. No idea what effect it will have at this stage.

Cool

TurboSteve,

A couple of us have/do run ALS using the ISCV. It does work.

From: Leeds - It was 562.4bhp@28psi on Optimax, How much closer to 600 with race fuel and a bigger turbo?
Post

AndyF posted a picture of a non turbo scoob engine with home made inlet manifold.. looked easy to make...

the jun solution looks nicer, but hasnt produced impressive results yet.. only 600bhp out of a 2.4

Im going for a lot bigger TB on mine... should have pics in the next week or so...

Prodrive use the ISCV for antilag on group N iirc.. think it may be a bit small though.. Motune do a antilag valve for the cossies..
