Am I right in thinking that Prodrive/IM did a warranty job on the P1 lip spoilers a while back and had them all Armourfended?
I only ask as mine's a low mileage W reg (secondhand) and has no record of the spoiler ever having been armourfended.
Was it a recall job or were they done at Prodrive pre-delivery? I have a feeling it was a recall type thing.....
Perhaps mine slipped through the net?

the p1 bumper i bought had a thin film across the splitter as i had to remove it all before i got it re-sprayed..!!!

I seem to remember the cars suffering bad stone chipping on the lip spoilers which led to the clear film being applied. I just don't know if it was only subsequent new build cars or if it was also retro-fitted to earlier cars.

 

Was fitted to later P1s cos of all the complaints from owners of the earlier cars.

Alot of cars have had it removed for respray.
