if you get a full sports cat milltek exhaust,do you still need a ecu remap??

For an STI 7:

You don't need one, but you will have to fit a different restrictor to dumb down the boost peaks IMHO, although some are selling them without and these cars are then detting obviously unknown to the exhaust installers.

For the P1:

Less likely to boost spike as wildly or boost creep, but the ECU can hit a lean spot and run into some detonation problems. If you have a knocklink and it is quiet then fine.

what about an sti8-i presume the same as sti7
do i need a knock link or will a boost gauge suffice
