Well i was down at MRO Scooby Styling today and Rob took me out in his MY93 WRX (i am the owner of MY99 UK Turbo, induction kit, full exhaust) and i was more than impressed with the pace of it! Seemed alot quicker than mine!

I have an induction kit and a de-cat centre and bb blitz exhaust, estimate my car should be running at least 10bhp more than standard ie. 225bhp. Whats the best route to take to get some more power??

Regards,

Dunc.

Ps. Cheers Rob!

ecu upgrade/re-map.

My 96 has had that done, and with a more free flowing (and noisy ) backbox its supposed to be good for about 260bhp as opposed to the standard 208. Cost me all of £110 for both items

A bigger turbo, decat down pipe and an ECU remap should sort it out .
A standard 93 WRX has 240ps..same as a PPP UK car and 224lb/ft torque..about 35lb/ft less than a PPP car, so you could go with a PPP and get simlar sort of power but i suspect his feels quicker due to the larger turbo giving more lag and a bigger kick in the back feel.
Just as a quick comparison the power to weight ratio's of the cars are. 1993WRX 195PS per tonne
1999 UK turbo 176PS per tonne
1999 PPP 196PS per tonne
