im just getin the signs that i need a new clutch. iv still got about 6months left on the 3 year warranty will my clutch be covered??? i know its a wear & tear item, but surly they sud last longer then 20k???........thanx michael.

Had the clutch replaced on my P1 under warranty at 26K

 

I had mine MY99 clutch done at 23k, and again at 26k

Also had the front disc's and pads done at 23k

 

It's 01476 590077. Is the clutch slipping, or juddering?

 

Apparently, they will accept clutch claims up to 30,000 miles. So you should not have a problem.

 

excellent cheers guys........i was goin 2 get a AP clutch but ill wait till next time then. the clutch is slipping in 4th and 5th gears. also front fogs lights aint workin + 1 of the side lights has died. god bless warrantys!

 

SLipping clutches could come under the wear and tear part of the warrenty and therefore would not be covered.

I got caught out on that point and faced the bill for a new clutch and flywheel.
