Yes It's a TD05-16G. To fit it to an early car you need to lift the manifold, re-route some pipes and reposition the power steering header tank.

This is the same spec of turbo as currently used by John Banks on his MY00 UK car. Latest estimates are that it is producing 380 bhp and 350+ lb-ft torque. When fitted with an uppipe, spool up/lag is similar to the OE TD04

Is this standard turbo fitted to pre 97 wrx's.....

 

Fitted as OE to some 93 - 96 cars. Converted to front entry to suit later cars, overhauled and gas flowed compressor housing.

The TD05 is one of the toughest most reliable turbo's available.
It will perform better than most hybrids costing more than twice this amount !

TD05's are also fitted as original equipment on Mitsubishi EVO 7's
