I feel i have to get this off my chest. I am looking for a new STI and my brother and WRX now the new shape is out. I have spoken to our local dealer Hylton Subaru in Shrewsbury and they were very good but don't have a STI to try so i rang Listers of Worcester for a price etc. THREE times i have rung an three different days THREE times the sales have been to busy to speak to me, this i have no problem with BUT three times I have been asked for my number and assured a sales man will ring me back NOTHING. Is it just me our what, our are Lister that busy they don't need to bother ring people back or are they just rude?
Has anybody else found this with dealers???????????????

I'm afraid that they're all a bit like that. Well at least every Subaru dealer that I've dealt with has been (all 4 of them).

I know Listers have a couple of new people there, and it has been a bit of an issue recently. Might I suggest you try asking for Glenn Thompson, he's the sales boss, and a terrific guy.

I went to Listers a couple of weekends ago, the Business sales guy wasnt available, so someone took all of my details and said I would get a call back on the Monday.

Guess what...still waiting for a phone call....

Dont they want to sell any cars?? Getting mine from elsewhere now.

Yep, we've dealt with three dealerships now, out of, say 30 requests to return our calls, the first few to actually purchase the car, they only phoned back once.

We reckon it's company policy to not make outside calls to customers to save a few pence!!

why not give Oaken garage a try then, if you are in the shrewsbury/worcester area, they are only on the outskirts of Wolverhampton, not far from jct 3 M54. they have 03 STi in and also have a demo with PPP fitted! what more can you ask for???

Didn't have to call Adams. Simon just called me just to find out how things were going after I popped in to have a look at the STi8 a few weeks back.

Most of them live in the mid nineties when they had waiting lists of 6 months or more for Impreza Turbos and think that people interested in performance cars are privileged to have the chance to buy a Subaru.

Make out you are some Barbour jacketed farmer who wants to buy a Forrester and they will kiss your **** IMHO
