Hi does anybody know what you are supposed to be looking for when buying a second hand superchip.

Your starting places to look for with respect to this is

a blown engine it may have come from.

and if it were me a Dustbin to place it in?

Probably not the most popular bit of kit among many on this BBS, still its up to you in the end.

Do a search here for more info before you buy would be my advice.

If I was going for a replacement chip it would be a custom mapped one, probably a LINK ECU or a Motec.
