i was at the brighouse cruise in west yorkshire this sunday, there was a black sti there. it had a mad sounding exhaust system everytime he put the throttle down you could hear the turbo spin real loud it just whisstled real loud all you could hear was a woooooooshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh and again woooooooooossshhhhhhhhhhh

It may have been a combination of exhaust and induction kit - i know my APS induction allows you to hear everything the turboo and dump valve does... not need for a VTA on mine to make noises....
