I had a clutch replaced at Gloucester Road Gearboxes, Bristol 0117 954 1424 - not for a scoob or in Wiltshire, but they do know what they're doing and price was about half main-dealer.

Right, dropped my baby off this morning and "should" be picking her up later on today. In the meantime they gave me a Mondeo GLX diesel to play with! Yeehah!
I was a little bit concerned when he mentioned possibly needing a new flywheel if mine had high spots. I asked if they would skim the old one and was told that you can't do that sir. Now, this seems to be at odds with what i have read on this forum so i asked if he could ring me so that i can try and source a lightened one. Off now to post a message to see if anyone will do an advance exchange one.
Will keep you posted.

Roy.

It has to be Brookwood Motor Company, Newbury, Berkshire.
