Search has taken such a pounding it's caused havoc with the server which resulted in the huge slowdown earlier.

We're optimised some parts of the search facility (it's on the full post searches that can cause the problem) but may have to remove the full post search / limit it to 1 word / reduced dates, etc if it causes further problems.

Apologies for the outage, please be as respectful as possible of the search facility until we can get this resolved.
