Hi all,

I am, too put it mildly, quite a large bloke and unfortunately the seatbelts on the '98 5 Door Impreza Turbo are a little on the short side (all those pies are coming back to haunt me
Has anyone got any ideas on how to extend it? I have tried Subaru & Halfords for an extender but they don't seem to do one.

Cheers

On a serious note (if this is a serious post ) I doubt you can get longer seat belts Are US ones the same length? And if so would they be legal here?

Cheers paulpalmer for the suggestion If only it was easier!

The US ones are the same I think, something to do with the law and that seatbelts only have to cater for people up to a certain size.

The the STi 2 door seat belt doesn't fit which is a shame cos they are longer! Any other ideas would be appreciated.
