Interesting to hear whether you fellow scoobynetters feel that Subaru have got the styleing right at long last. Is the MY03 better styled than the MY02.

classic scoob gets my vote- bug eye was just nasty- MY03 looks like a Daewoo or Hyundai or similar

Too soft around the edges and needs more aggression. I love my MY99 but i prepared to admit it does seem a tad old hat when parked next to a Bug eye. The only way in this world however i'd own a bug eye is if it's fitted with morettes. I think the Bug is a touch soft around the edges too but i can't run mine for the rest of my life.

 

The front end is a lot better than the standard looking WRX, but I prefer the bugeye with the UK300 headlight conversion done. The scoop on the MY03 is a bit OTT.

 

Should of put the arches that are on the wrc car on the new sti wow .....think ill wait to get usto it might get meself a twin scorll fron japan .......chris

NOTHING comes clsoe to the classic, it looks mean, is mean, I mean its just mean!! the classic STILL gets the kids around it!! something the BugEye or MY03 I doubt will ever replicate.

Also, Subaru NEED to start winning rallies again!

I have the limited Edition STI7 bugeye when I go up to Sixth form College to pickup my Daughter. My STi7 turns more heads than my MY99 I have had 20 offers of sex, 3 those were from girls LOL

no, I don't like the new scooby shape at all. I have the money to buy one but would rather spend it on TypeR, some trackdays and maybe a holoday

I much prefer the classic shape and the most beautiful scooby was deffinetly the STI5/6 TypeR

 

For STi's, prefer 7 to 8... Hate the scoop on 8, and the smoked glass tones down the bugeyedness on 7.

For WRXs (which is what you've actually asked) I just marginally prefer '03, though my vote, like so many others, remains with 'Classic'.

Saw the MY03 at Subaru Nottingham in the flesh for first time. Sorry, but the scoop is plain ridiculous. Still my P1 still looks awesome sitting next to the MY03.

 

Nothing beets the MY99-00, so I have to go with the Classic Scooby!
However the MY03 is way better the MY01-02, and as you guys have already said: We WANT some bonnet vents for gods sake!!!!!!!
The bonnet is "naked" without the vents, w/ our w/o MY03 STi scoop!

 

IMHO nothing beats a 22B. Saw the MY03 STI V2 in the flesh today plus a test drive. Not much in it between the two (had to be conservative as the car was still running in). I do think that the MY02 STI V1 Prodrive (now limited edition by 750 units) looks more agressive compared to the facelift version.

 

i think they both look rubish i dont feel they got it right at all they need to beat the clasic and i dont think they have
