Question

I cant decide between the following:

1. Scooby option - PPP for my STi7 to 300bhp
Advantages: Im sure I will love it with PPP from what people have said
Disadvantages: Insurance costs, SUL costs, cant leave it anywhere, worry about theft etc, losing heavily financially on it, mrs hates it.

2. Rotary option - New RX8 240bhp
Advantages: Great looking car/spec/price, rotary engine different, lots of good reviews so far, its not german, hopefully will hold price well.
Disadvantages: Will its performance be good enough, its not a scoob

3. Diesel/sensible option - New BMW 330D 205bhp
Advantages: 30-40mpg, cheaper insurance, wont need to use indicators any more , 200+bhp, 300lbft
Disadvantages: Everything else, its a BMW which would make me a to$$er

I need to decide in the next few weeks as I need to put down a deposit on the RX8 for July/August delivery as supply is restricted.

The RX8 has a better bhp/ton to my std Sti7 even though torque is a lot less, so Im leaning toward itat the moment, am I mad?

Do I need convincing to stay in the scooby fold?

You're gonna lose a mint on the Scoob whenever you sell it. Get the ppp. When it comes to sell the car time you could sell the ppp separate.
