I have been visiting this site for a few months now being a STI 7 (WR blue of course) owner for 4 months I have learned a lot from this active and (mostly) mature site. One of the things I have learned is to filter some of the stuff and opinions being expressed, otherwise I believe it would be easy to get a kind
of “Scooby hypochondria”.
It’s overall a great resource. I am looking forward to become a more active member.
By the way, my car has no mod’s (yet) except from a set of “V” winter tires (Nokian WR 225/45*17) which I am more than satisfied with. It’s been tested on most winter surfaces up to now with great fun and lot’s of respect.

Intreged about they tyres? Never herd of the brand so cant comment on them at all but how r they any better in winter than likes of toyos F1's etc that are great in wet but as with all standard scooby wheels toowide 2 deal with cutting thru snow ability 
I no there was talk of sum richer
types getting thin wheels/rubber for such snowy conditions as we had of late because of this problem 
Just wondered m8y but welcome & dont b shy, kum 2 yer local meet & put sum names 2 faces may help u overcome fear of sum of the gob shytes
