Yeah probably a sport or GL like already said.

It is possible to import a real early turbo but thats if you can afford the insurance etc

my mate brought an Silver L reg WRX in from Japan with 70K on the clock for 4.5K. It was in very good condition and with 250bhp as standard it was very fast.

If youve 4k to spend on a car, then it has to be an early turbo or wrx, but if you cant afford the insurance/mega running costs its goy to be a sport. My opinion of course, I bought a wrx, K reg early this year. I paid £5000 but it only had 50000 miles, full service and a couple of extras (turbo timer, fully adj susp, exhaust etc). I saw a lot of cars ranging from as low as £3500-£5500, all early turbos (uk) and wrx's. Some were dogs, some had high milage, but there were a few good ones about, anyway good luck searching mate,
