how comes the small flat vents on the bonnets of the pre 2001 scoobs were taken off for the new model. I mean what were their use, as far as I knew the new models engine was pretty much the same so why did they decide they didn't need them any more?

 

They werent used and blanked off, just styling and agressiveness, they were removed probably to do with pedestrain safety crash protection or to make it look cute .

 

They should have kept them or done something similar.
