Should be worth the wait though.
I haven't seen Rallycross there for years, but watching them come out of Druids and across the back of the Southbank carpark used to be great fun!

What bits of the circuit will they be using? Hasn't armco appeared across various bits of the old circuit they used to use?

 

My brother will be there racing his class 4 Honda 1600 VTEC powered Spaceframed mini (Thats assuming it is finished in time............).

Funny thing is the engine of choice for this division is the Vauxhall 1600 and people like Dave Ward are spending a fortune to get 205BHP. Our engine is out of a 70,000 mile JDM Civic SiR II
(although we have changed the oil and cambelt....)

Should be good to see how a standard road engine compares to about 10K's worth (excluding gearbox!) of modified Vauxhall engine.

So if you see a little red and white mini mixing it at the front, remember the car was built for about a 10th of what everyone else has spent!
