They are under the steering column same as impreza, just difficult to find. They may also be green and white, instead of green and black. they may also me taped up with the main loom, making them difficult to find, but they are there.

i think i might of figured out what the CEL is though, speedo has stopped working, and one of the fault codes is Vehicle Speed Sensor so nothing serious i hope

i've got a photo of the ECU sticker (my92 JDM Legacy RS) i can upload when turbosport is working again

Jap RS legacy ecus go well, although dont seem to like too much extra bost without det.. The diagnostic wires plugs are simply 2 pairs of spade type plugs. Nothin fancy.

There is a main loom passing under the steering column, they are usually taped to it. Just 2 pairs of coloured plugs, that will plug into each other. Keep lookin

Question

i've now found them, they where right next to the bright yellow un-connected plug in the picture above

now, i've got the codes off it, all i need to know is what is wrong with it the codes were 24 & 33

33 was the speedo unplugged which i kind of guessed, but it's the 24 fault i'm not sure about, Air control valve signal is abnormal, not exactly sure where this valve is my dad saide it wasn't running right after he last drove it (it was ok coming back from the garage) could he of knocked something will messing about under the hood?

always a good idea that it also seems to want to run the fan all the time aswell happened at the same time as the engine started running badly (not sure if we had the code 33 on the way home, it was only the speedo not working then)
