Unhappy

Just changed my factory PFR6B for a new set NGK PFR7B. They are pre gapped at 0,7mm (if my filler shows correctly) so I put them directly in my car. Is this normal as a friend told me he thinks they are pre gapped at 0,8mm? If not what are the implications? Please tell me that is right, I am not going to do it again, quite difficult and needs special tools to jack up the engine!
Thanks in advance.
JIM

You jacked up the engine???? What for???? 0.7mm is fine. Some plugs do come pre-gapped, but always best to check before fitting anyway.
