Now I am thinking of changing my exhaust on my MY01 WRX from my Scoobysport to either a HKS or Blitz. Before anyone says anything I am happy with my SS one but fancy a change for a while. I'm after a different tone and appearance of zurst. I have the full de-cat including up-pipe on my car at the moment.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Even better if anyone lives in Essex with either one on their car for me to look and listen at

Gotta be the HKS.

I think more people will say Blitz...but the tailpipe on the HKS looks so good straight cut, IIRC the Blitz is slash cut?, looks more golf, HKS just oozes Jap performance

i got a blitz nurspec cat back system with a hks decat downpipe, think theyre a good combination and sound awesome.

 

I've got the HKS Hiper and much prefer the overall look and sound of the exhaust than a Blitz.

 

Do you want to sell me the ss system?

 

Ive got a Nur Spec R system with scoobysport (h+s)downpipe and absolutely love the sound of it!!
However, the word on the street seems to be that the HKS Hyper is the system to go for due to the straight through flow characteristics...
I think the looks of the Blitz and the Sound are much better than the other systems available, but if its all out power you want then HKS is the way forward..

p.s. not too keen on the fact that HKS systems are mild steel pipework rusty rusty..

 

I went for the Blitz. The slash cut pipe looks so much better. Would be good if they did a Ti tip version though. Just make sure you buy some metal polish to keep it looking shiny!
