Modifying intake system
I have a 94 wrx wagon with k+n cone filter , bailey dump valve and soon to be de-catted exhaust ,
I have just aquired an intercooler from a new transit turbo diesel, now if it stands up to a pressure test which i'll be carrying out tommorrow (1.5 bar) would it be beneficial in me mounting it behind my front bumper a.k.a FMIC , either in series with my top mount intercooler (which has waterspray ) or on it's own without top mount intercooler, i'm currently running standard boost i think (according to my blitz digital turbo timer/boost gauge is 0.85bar peak ) if not what pressure should i be running?
Any sugestions greatly appreciated.

I though about running a twin intercooler on my old 200sx but i reckon the boost losses due to the additional pipework would make it a waste of time, especially so if the front mount has a decent core and surface area.
I thought about this when i fitted my DIY fmic, it can be more hassle than it is worth... the main problem i thought would be running a boost pipe out of the top mount to the fmic and still being able to run a pipe into the manifold/inlet.. its pretty much impossible due to the tight space around the top mount already without adding two more boost pipes in/out...
