Bracknell Xmas Meet - ho ho ho
I'll pop along (the missus will not be attending) but may be blubbing all night.
Something (rather large) fell off the bottom of a car in front of me on the motorway.
I had no chance to avoid it. BIG insurance excess bill pending,
AND bye bye protected no claims!
Oh I'll have...
Soup, Roast Turkey, and Choccy Gateau.

Ok, we're thinking of doing an Xmas meet at our now regular new pub, The New Leathern Bottle. They have a Christmas menu and we were thinking of doing this. Can't remember exact cost but its something like 12-15 quid PP for 3 courses plus mince pies and coffee
Date for this would be Thursday 19th December - just b4 crimbo
from about 7:30. Directions here.
You WILL NOT be able to just turn up and get food.
We need to know numbers to get it booked, so you'll have to post if you want to come, please also say how many will be eating
Cheers all, hope to see you on the night

Right, below is a copy of the menu.

Having spoken to Angie we need to know the final numbers by Sunday evening along with what you would like to eat. I can then let Angie know on Monday what the orders are, and allow Angie to make the necessary arrangements. You can either post them on here, or mail me direct as per my profile. (Or perhaps Neil but I'll let him comment on this)
Also, I would just like to point out, that if you do commit to coming along and eating, please make sure you can/do, as we are not paying a deposit on this food due to the short timescales involved, and I do not want the pub to be out of pocket.

Dave, depends how my group buy gets on
Although I think none of the attendees from previous meets would require them, we must just be an easy going lot round this neck of the woods

(or don't hide behind our PC's
)
I think its best if everyone posts their choices on here - and means Angie can also see how its going when she's quietly surfing away and scanning the thread (Hi Angie

)
Cheers!

Cheers for the nudges Jawa.
Can't make it I'm afraid as I'm on evening shifts from 2pm to midnight making sure you all get your Christmas card and fiver from grannie!
BTW, tell grannie to stick the envelope flap down or the contents can go missing (allegedly)!
Have fun and raise a jolly glass or two for me.
Cheers,
Steve
