Hi folks, just a quickie!
Have written off my RB5 WRSport as confirmed by insurers today. Would it be possible for me to keep the number plate ( ** BYE ) as would be a good one to put on another scoob!
It is not a private plate as it is the original one the car was given when new.
Does any one know if this is feasable and if so where do i start!?

Cheers

Mikey

First thing to do is check your V5/ logbook and see if the number is transferable. Some of them say that they aren't apparently. Also, I would ask your insurance co for it quick cos if they give you money for the car they own it including the reg.
Hpwever, if it was me, I'd go to the DVLA website and buy one for £250 or so. At least then when you go to sell the car on, the prospective buyer won't get a shock when a check comes back to say it was written off, (albeit on a different car).
