Just went trundling out to set the gap on my plugs to 0.7 (As suggested if they're 1.1mm) and I cannot for the life of me suss out any EASY way to get them out!
So I thought before I start launching tools across the garage, I'd come on here and see if any of u know THE way??
It's an MY93 WRX.
Cheers,
Jon

Does yours have an iduction kit or standard airbox? Mine has the HKS Racing Suction kit so the drivers side plugs are easy to get at, but I haven't figured a way to get at the other pair, although I haven't physically tried yet, just thought about it for future servicing

I found the easiest way was to use the 1/2" drive knuckle joint on the spark plug socket, this was just the right length to get the ratchet on, with the battery side plugs (which i found easier??) i took the coil pack off and then put the socket/knuckle joint on the plug first before putting the ratchet on, it was much easier to get the socket on without the ratchet connected....

Thumbs up

If need be, remove the large washer bottle to do the battery side plugs.

See here for guide to Spark Plug removal of similar 2.5 US RS Impreza
